This vintage marks a new chapter for Beresford’s multi-regional program, with a focus on freshness, structure and purity of fruit or in normal-person language: a wine that tastes lush without knocking you unconscious.
Crafted from handpicked fruit from Kuitpo and Aldgate Estate in the high-altitude Adelaide Hills, this pinot offers ruby colour, wild berries, herbs, and a touch of dried rose.
“There’s a real clarity to this wine,” says winemaker Chad Smith sounding like a man who also loves a crisp linen napkin. “It’s considered, but unpretentious. You can pair it with food or pour a glass on a Sunday afternoon.”
What It Actually Tastes Like (in Five Seconds)
Bouquet: Rose petals, dried lavender, forest floor (the glamorous woodland kind), crushed herbs, and seasoned French oak that whispers rather than shouts.
Palate: Bright cranberry, sour cherry, pomegranate, all riding on lively acidity with a smooth, elegant finish that lingers longer than relatives on Boxing Day.
