Tasting Notes

Bouquet: The nose is an aromatic delight, with pronounced notes of blueberry and plum, trailing whispers of potpourri. Remarkably youthful and fresh even after four years, it exudes a vibrant character that seems to laugh in the face of time.

Palate: Medium-bodied, the wine delivers tangy acidity and fine-grained, firm tannins, painting the mouth with lively energy. Imagine flavours of fresh red cherry, plum, sultanas, with layers of mint, eucalyptus, dry herbs, and a tantalizing hint of Chinese five spices. The result? A multi-dimensional tasting experience that keeps you guessing with each sip.

Winemaking Excellence: Beresford Classic Shiraz

The journey of the Beresford Classic Shiraz begins with the meticulous selection of grapes based on colour and flavour development. These grapes are gently crushed and fermented for 7-10 days at around 20 degrees Celsius. Small open-top fermenters are used, employing hand pumping over and rack and return techniques to ensure optimal extraction of tannins and colour.
