Set on the quieter, more romantic side of Gili Meno, Meno House is just a one-minute swim from Meno Wall, a vibrant coral reef where turtles regularly glide past as if checking you’re enjoying yourself. The new suite sits in a private, elevated position and includes two king bedrooms, beautiful bathrooms with outdoor rain showers, a generous infinity pool framed by tropical gardens, an open lounge and dining area, a handy kitchenette, and even a WhatsApp butler for anything you might need (including coffee, cocktails or life guidance).
Days here tend to unfold gently. Mornings start with snorkelling at high tide, followed by a complimentary breakfast at Toofeys, the beachfront lounge and restaurant where lingering is strongly encouraged. Lunch and dinner are equally easygoing, with fresh, locally sourced dishes, excellent vegetarian and gluten-free options, and sunset drinks that somehow stretch into the evening without anyone noticing the time.
For those feeling energetic, the team can arrange diving, fishing, island hopping or even sunrise and sunset horse rides along the beach. Snorkelling gear, bikes and kayaks are all complimentary, though doing absolutely nothing is also very much supported.

Part of Gili Meno’s charm is its complete ban on motorised vehicles. You’ll get around by bike, on foot, or by cidomo, traditional horse-drawn carts that are an integral part of island life. It’s peaceful, gentle, and delightfully old-fashioned.
Sustainability is central to Meno House, with composting, recycling, refillable water bottles, locally sourced building materials, and natural, plant-based bath products handmade on Lombok all part of the ethos. It’s luxury that feels good in every sense.
