The Star on Broadbeach Island

Located on Broadbeach Island, The Star connects to the Gold Coast Highway, Broadbeach via a bridge. The tram service to Surfers Paradise is close by and the beach is a 15 minute walk away.
Digs

The rooms breathe opulence with their high-tech touches including controls to open the curtains showcasing a hinterland or an ocean view. The beds are soft and toasty as a warm marshmallow. There are all the usual suspects of a five star hotel, smart TV, minibar, bathrobes and slippers, and a coffee pod machine.
The bathrooms have dual rain showerheads and hand-held shower, Appelles products, and another decadence – a pillow menu.
