Koko Black creates vegan chocolate eggs for Easter
A vegan Easter
Australian artisan chocolatier Koko Black has created yet another special Easter vegan range of melt-on-the-tongue chocolate. Remco Brigou, the head chocolatier said, “With a limited number of high-quality vegan-friendly and Australian-made chocolate products, we knew it was the perfect time to continue our vegan-friendly range so all Australians have the chance to indulge themselves in something special this year.”
It’s not just one lonely vegan choice you will have but a whole range that includes hollow eggs, filled eggs, bunnies, egg pops, egg cubes, and even a special hot chocolate.
Black Star Pastry and Koko Black’s hot crossed buns
But wait. Not only are there the divine Easter morsels, but Koko Black has also collaborated with Black Star Pastry to make a 100% vegan hot cross bun. This perfectly dense and sticky-glazed bun offers all-natural ingredients including thick chunks of tempered Koko Black chocolate as well as a spiced tinged glaze to the bun and chocolate cocoa cross on top. This contender for the best hot cross bun in Melbourne will be available in-store and online now, check more out over here.
Koko Black’s chocolate is an art form
Koko Black vegan chocolate for Easter
Koko Black creates chocolate that tastes like an experience and feels like an art form. It’s a mix of one part conviction, to one part curiosity, to one part craving for the finest couverture. Koko Black’s owners ventured forth to Belgium with a hunger to learn and a hankering for ganache. They returned with the talented chocolatier Dries Cnockaert, and together opened the very first Koko Black store beneath the soaring arches of Melbourne’s Royal Arcade.
The rest is history, as well as delicious. Soon their little store couldn’t keep up with the demand. One store became fifteen, and their small-but-perfectly-formed collection of pralines became a range of 260 truffles, marbles, blocks, boxes, and oh-so-silky hot chocolate blends test.
